I spend a fair bit of time down in Albany, but I have never seen Jayde Sleep’s, street neat ’69 VF Valiant. Powered by a very fresh E49 265 motor, the car goes nicely.

“I went to town on the motor to be honest, it is 40-thou over, runs a Viper cam, a zero decked and shave head with dual valve springs and roller rockers, a 4-barrel Holley and Pacemaker extractors,” said Jayde.

The reconditioned 4-speed single rail box has a new heavy-duty clutch to match and a recondition 25-spline LSD with 2.7 gears rests out the back.

The deep green paint is complimented by the black 17-inch Speedy wheels. “It’s no show car, but it looks neat and tidy and turns plenty of heads anyway,” said Jayde.
